How long does the delivery and set-up take?
Because we don't want repeat business we are often in your residence for 45-60 minutes to set-up the equipment and walk you through best practices for 'maximizing your facedown recovery'.
Our set-up time involves, the best place to set-up the equipment, moving furniture, explaining how to get comfortable and how to use the facedown mirror. We often hear people exclaim that "they much better now about their recovery" due to the explanation and time provided. We take as long as you need. This is truly one of the best parts of our job, getting to know you and helping you prepare for surgery so that you can maximize your recovery.

Where do most people have the equipment set-up?
Everyone has their own preference as to where they want the equipment set-up. From our experience since 2015, here are the themes.
ONE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT - If you have one piece of equipment, it is 90% of the time set-up in a living room or a family room. In other words, being with other people and having access to a TV is a bonus. You can share time watching movies, sports and TV shows together despite your circumstances.
TWO PIECES OF EQUIPMENT - I think there is a 50% split on this one. Some of our renters will put the facedown recovery bed in a bedroom and the chair in a larger living space while others will place the equipment in the same room. I tend to like it in the same room as it provides an easy opportunity to change positions even in the middle of the night.
Either way, having easy access to a washroom AND limited the number of stairs you are climbing or descending is important. We don't want you to fall! Your balance may already be compromised. This isn't always the case but it was for me. Safety and convenience are important considerations.
