Are you recovering from a vitrectomy facedown? Our PREMIUM facedown recovery chair rentals will allow you to change your position and allow you to sit up as you visit with friends or family or watch TV. Needing to be facedown at all times puts additional strain on your shoulders and back. Having a recovery chair allows you to change your position and provides you with additional comfort as you heal.

Delivery Information

We offer in-home personalized delivery within our delivery area. Each in-home set-up is about 45 minutes in length as we listen to your needs and set-up the equipment for you. This is not a drop, run, good-bye.

We want to reduce your anxiety so you can focus on maximizing your recovery!

Personalized Delivery, Set-up & Pickup are available to Hamilton, Burlington, Milton, Oakville, Mississauga, St. Catharines, Niagara, Brantford, Cambridge, Guelph, Kitchener and surrounding areas (Monday to Friday); London, Ontario (Tuesday to Thursday)

Is Retina Recovery Inc. Insured including WSIB?

Retina Recovery Inc. is fully insured and compliant with WSIB regulations in Ontario, ensuring both our customers and team members are protected during equipment delivery and in-home support.

What if I damage the recovery equipment?

We understand that accidents and normal wear happen. If any damage occurs, just give us a call—we appreciate your honesty. Thankfully, since 2015, we've only had one curious cat put our premium recovery bed to the test!

Will my insurance cover the rental?

We’re working hard to help customers get insurance coverage for facedown recovery rentals. While not guaranteed, many have had success—especially with Sunlife. A prescription from your surgeon and mailing in your claim often improves your chances.

What is included in my rental?

Our rentals include more than equipment—they come with personalized setup, guidance, and support to help you recover properly. During delivery, we answer your questions and ensure you're positioned for success throughout your facedown recovery.

What happens if my date changes after the equipment delivery?

Surgery delays can happen, and if your date changes—even after equipment has been delivered—there’s no need to worry. Just contact us, and we’ll happily adjust your rental dates. We’re here to support you every step of the way as part of your recovery team.
